6. Inserting and Editing Page Banners

What are Page Banners?

Page Banners are a FrontPage "component" that you may insert into your page to automatically display the Page Title. What's cool about them is that if you change the Page Title (how? see below), FrontPage will automatically update your Page Banner.

In most cases, you will probably already have a page banner. Some Themes will have a specific graphic banner that you should use. Other Themes may use 'text style" banners.

How to...

  1. Go to Insert/Page Banner.

  2. You may have the theme's picture banner, or have a text banner.

If you change the page banner text, this will change the page title and navigation button text as well.

  3. At any time, you may right-click the page banner and select Page Banner Properties to change the text or the style of the page banner.

*Note that the Navigation button text, Page banner, and Page Title are all linked.
